Mandatory 7 Days Home Quarantine for International Passengers

Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has issued the latest Guidelines for International Arrivals from 11th January 2022. All International Passengers arriving to India are to undergo mandatory home quarantine for 7 days. This must be followed by a RT-PCR test to be carried out on the 8th day. The report has to be uploaded on the Air Suvidha Portal.

All arriving passengers must have ‘Arogya Setu’ App downloaded on their Smartphones. Before travelling to India arriving passengers have to upload a self declaration form and a negative RT-PCR Test Report conducted 72 hours prior to travel. Arriving passengers originating from COVID risk countries have to undergo a COVID test on arrival.

India reported 1,17,100 fresh COVID-19 cases on Friday, over 28 per cent higher than the previous day’s cases.
