The Indian women worshiping the Sun God for the well-being of the entire family on the occasion of “Chhath” (a sun worshiping) festival popular in eastern part of the country mainly in the states of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh & Jharkhand etc but nowadays it is celebrated in Delhi also.
The process of this festival is very tough as they have to be on complete fast for more than 2 days with many rituals offered to the Sun. Conservation of nature happened to be major concern for mankind in every era of human evolution and development… In Hindu dharmic tradition, nature remains at the center point of any religious activities. Sun, moon, stars, mountain, river are considered as God whom we pay reverence to show our gratitude towards nature.
