CBSE Declares 12 Class 2020 Examination Results

The wait of over 12 lakh students is finally over as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday declared the results for class 12 examinations 2020. The Central Board of Secondary Education has made the CBSE class 12 result 2020 available on its official website i.e. cbseresults.nic.in

As per CBSE, with 88.78 per cent pass percentage this year for class 12, the pass percentage has increased by 5.38% percent. This year due to ongoing pandemic crisis examination of some of the subjects couldn’t be held and students were evaluated on their past performances. 38,686 students scored above 95%.

This year a total of 1203595 students had registered for the CBSE 12th examination, out of which 1192961 appeared. A total of 1059080 students passed the examination. The overall pass percentage is 88.78 per cent.

Divyanshi Jain from Lucknow’s Navyug Radiance School has excelled in Humanities stream by scoring 100 in all her subjects. She intends to pursue History Honours. Another Humanities student from Delhi Public School, Bulandshahar, Tushar Singh, secured full 500 out of 500 marks in his board exam. Tushar now wants to study History Honours from Delhi University and go on to become an IAS officer.
